Planning on smoking a brisket this weekend. Want to add either beer or red wine to my injection or marinade. So I have a few questions…Anyone ever try this? Which one goes better with brisket? Should I inject or just let it sit in a marinade overnight?

Dang. No responses?! [emoji1787]. It’s all good. Clearly We got a lot of traditionalists here when it comes to brisket. Fire smoke salt pepper. Done deal. Sound about right?

Don’t know about brisket but I wrap my baby backs with 1/2 cup of red wine. Add a nice flavor. I don’t know why it wouldn’t work the same on brisket.
