20oz double burger and one of the best I've ever had--Sous Vide (Pron)

There is burger TD going so I wanted to try something I've never done when it comes to doing burgers. Went sous vide first. :thumb: It was a TON of work but honestly totally worth it.

2 10oz patties and here's how it went down

Started with strip steaks

Cut them

Ground the chuck fine

Mixed 50/50 and made two 10 oz patties

Vacuumed the patties seasoned with S&P and butter

Into the water bath at 128* for 2 hours until I worked on the rest of the stuff

Patties finished with the sous vide phase and ready to hit the hot grill for a quick sear and to melt on the cheese

That looks great! Do you think the butter in the bag add any moisture or flavor to the burger?
 
Really nice. I'd have to try and finish that too! Killer burgers and I really like sweet potato fries!
 
Dang....you did it again! Wish I could take a bite out of my screen. Looks amazing Sako!! I can't imagine a burger getting any better than that. Well done Sir! :thumb:
