That Styrofoam cooler is a total fail. I get a Omaha gift box every year and their cooler has never shown a bit of damage. Unless you dropped that from the roof of your house I'd guess that was more of shipping damage.
I would mention it to them and provide the pictures.

First off thanks to all the legwork done by Adam and David.:eusa_clap As I mentioned in the other thread, I researched wagyu ranches and Morgan Ranch was one of the first I found. After browsing the website and seeing the high prices I moved along.

Not saying they don't have a great product (I'm sure they do) but I wouldn't be surprised if the price went up with all this demand from BBQrs for brisket.

Don't get me wrong. I sincerely hope it stays at $6/lb. As soon as I can get my wife to agree to a case of briskets, I'll be texting them. :clap2:

Thanks for the details. I am curious....wonder what weights they can provide.

What did you pay in shipping? That is often a killer. Or was that included in your $6/lb?

LMAO. Jeez!!! It ain't rocket science.

Very simple folks, as instructed:

1. Text

2. When prompted, call, place your order and pay

3. Then it's shipped

If I didn't already have two SRF golds in my freezer I would've phoned away by now and gave it a try.

sorry about the foam container- if anyone has any suggestions for a different type or from a different vendor please feel free to make a suggestion.

The $6 price will stand. Morgan Ranch makes its living based solely on its reputation of doing business globally with many midas restaurants. These midas establishments purchase the primal cuts many of us are familiar with ... ribeye, filet, strip, etc.

Morgan Ranch never really considered profiting from the cuts us bbq folks require and thus these briskets are/were an afterthought. 6 bucks a pound seemed more than fair for genuine 100% wagyu beef.

Morgan Ranch also has a hybrid offering of hereford/wagyu cross which is also excellent but not true wagyu beef.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Scott is a busy man and deals with his global client base daily which is why TEXT FIRST is requested. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.

Lastly- these prices are only for us bbq folks. You will not resell them. If you do and I find out about it the relationship will end. Believe me, the world of wagyu is small. This is a favor to all of us.. dont be a douche canoe.
