Thank you for posting! I know it's a lot of work to make and edit those vids. Good work. Cant wait to see a cook on this thing.

i subscribed to your channel , keep em coming !

Thank you.

What you guys think I should cook first? My wife is thinking ribeye, but I'm thinking brisket. Maybe a lot to ask of a new cooker. I know Weber don't "require" seasoning to avoid rust, but it seems like mine always tend to run hot until I get a good layer for gunk on it.

yeah go for something low and slow to test charcoal consumption and ease of temp control.

I just have to say, i have read a lot of hype about this grill and I could no longer resist.

Today I purchased one from Firecraft. Unfortunately, they are on back order (I guess they must be selling better than expected) so I won't receive it for a few weeks. That being said, I am looking forward to reading these updates until I have my Owen, at which time,mi will also start reporting on my experiances.

That's awesome! I can't wait to see pictures! How long is the wait going to be?

I was just at All things barbecue in Wichita and they have them in stock. Might want to give them a call. If you do ask for Don Cary and tell them that Brent Bateman referred you..... Brownie points don't hurt......

I love the part when the sticker rips coming off the hinge. I really hate those cheap paper stickers and they're always in a high visibility area.

The Star Wars band was great too.

Looks like a very well made, well designed cooker.
