This is an awsome build, Exelent fab skills. I'm impressed:eusa_clap I'm glad you bumped it peeps. This is exactly what i wanted to build, I just didn't know it. I was thinking about making an reverse flow smoker with a grill over the firebox but didnt realy have the room for a big thing on my deck. Didn't even cross my mind to do a verticle one. What bbq calculator did you use to figure out the sizes. Any pictures of the food that came out of that thing.

you are correct about having the right tools, it makes projects so much easier. I have the thermal dynamics cutmate 38 plasma and it cuts 3/8". it's hanging on the wall in the back ground in the first picture. I never had anything to do with water jet but I have drew up the plate work for rear carrier and motor mount for a mini rail project I have been working on. I tabed everything and it snapped together like a jigsaw puzzel and was self squaring. Makes life alot easier.
