Added to the family... (CL Score!)

I love my Weber kettle but when it comes to a gas grill I have used a crappy gasser all my life. I decided to start saving up for a Weber Genesis to use on weeknights or whenever time is tight. With a retail price tag of $699 I knew it would be awhile before I could ditch my old gasser. Then came a CL post in the model & color that I wanted. I made my offer and it was rejected but I told him if he should decide that a "bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" then call me. He called the next day and took $400 for a brand new, never used, already assembled Genesis grill. Almost half price for a new grill. WOOHOO! :clap2: First thing my wife says to me...Now you have to update your sig line on the Brethren forums. She's a good woman. :-D

So if I use "Brethren Logic" that I have learned since joining I can reason that: If I bought that Genesis new I'd pay $699 + tax = $740.94. I paid $400 meaning a savings of $340.94. AND I know that Amazon has a 22.5" Weber Smokey Mountain for $362.41, shipping & tax included. So, as I see it if I come up with $21.77 I can just order that new WSM. :becky:
