I had 2 13lb Turkey's left (.29 a Lb) They were Fresh Turkeys. I cut both of them up and used the Egg at 325º
I cooked one last Saturday and it took 4 hours to get the Breast done, Legs were a little overcooked.
Today I cooked the other one that was Brined for 48 Hours. Put the Breast on about 45 minutes before the Legs and Thighs. Breast at 170º after 2 Hours 15 minutes and legs and Thighs took 1 Hour 30 minutes.
Brined bird was very moist, good but a little salty.
Does Brining speed the cooking times?
