FIL prime rib birthday dinner for the big game

Nice. I'd have a hard time deciding if I want a big slab on a plate with some horseradish or thin sliced on a crusty roll. Probably both...

Big slab with horseradish sauce last night. Just enough leftover to slice thin on a crusty roll today

THAT is the best reverse sear I've ever seen. Spectacular!

The low oven temp helps with the interior color. A little coffee in the rub helps with exterior color.

It really IS a work of art, Ninja!

Meathead's got a really nice horseradish sauce on his site.

I tried that awhile back, remember it being good. This stuff is good too.

Cant do traditional prepared horseradish, or anything too spicy. Spicier foods don't agree with me these days even though i love it.

I only licked my screen twice, does that mean I didn't like it enough? Looks fantastic, I could not imagine the taste and texture, gotta be great.

You can tell just by looking at the picture that it is oh so tender. Nice job.
