Reverse Sear Tri-Tip with Horseradish Bearnaise

Tri-Tip is kind of rare around here, so when I seen this the other day, I had to get it.

Trimmed it up.

Seasoned with Jack Daniels Steak Seasoning.

Seasoned up some Brussels Sprouts, with S&P, bacon, and garlic.

Made a Horseradish Bearnaise sauce for the steak

Pulled the steak at 115 and cranked the Yoder up to 500. Then seared it off. Missed pics of the sear, but here is the finished product.

That looks great. Love the sprouts. Not sure where in the great state of OK you are but I can almost always find tri tip in Norman - Sams or Crest.

Great lookin' plate right there!

I don't know why but haven't done a tri-tip in a long time. Think it's time to fix that.
 
Yeah you killed it. Did you use grill grates on the Yoder

Yes, 4 minutes per side, or that was the plan. Not really sure how long one side was. My google assistant let me down. I use it to set timers, and it told me that it was set, after some time had passed, I looked at my phone, and the timer wasn't running. Luckily, I caught it before it was too late.
