I think I bought this Lodge Cast Iron for a wedding gift and ended up gifting a vintage Griswold instead. It’s been in the closet a long time. Let’s put it to work with a Chuck Wagon Beef green chile stew.
3/4# Assada Steak
1# Ground Round
1/2 Onion
12 purple potatoes (they’re small)
2 Large Roasted green chile + one can chopped green chile
1 can green chile enchilada sauce
1/2 pint of Chipotle Pork drippings
1 teaspoon salt
1teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 tablespoon oregano
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 cup water
Into smoker stirring about every 15-20 minutes until desired thickness
