There has been a bunch of posts and threads lately in favor of flipping steaks, not just once..but like a lot of flipping.

These folks have lovingly been referred to as Fleakers. (Flip + Steak)

There is even a (made-up) term for it… JKF (Just Keep Flipping) technique.

So since it appears one needs a YouTube channel to make up these imaginary terms.
I have decided to jump onto the fray with my BRAND NEW term…..
JDFT (Just Don’t Farking Touch!) technique

Below you will find the very first use on YT of this breakthrough technique!!!

Started with quality ribeye steaks from the local half beef I got a few weeks back

(I mean..just look at those!)

Hit with Q-Salt

3/4” thick???

Um..no.

Got a raging fire going

And added the corn (soaked in water, in husk for 4 hours)

Once the coal bed was built and the heat was screaming, time to add the steaks

Once you have used up all your patience and you can’t just stand it anymore. Don’t flip, Roll and Twist!

You will be highly rewarded

I hope this resolves any questions or concerns from the Fleakers about the JDFT method (copyright not yet applied for)

Why are you so upset that people have alternate ways to achieve results that they enjoy? If they don't do it your way, it just can't possibly be good enough? It's impossible for anything new to improve on what you've been doing for 80 years?

Fleak yeah!! Don't forget to copyright your term for corn, SIWIH (soaked in water in husk). Now you have your own made up term and can be official.

Me upset??
Not even a little.

How one handles their meat, is their business.

Like most things I say or type, this should be taken with a grain of salt. (Preferably Q-Salt. :) )

Just having some fun with the *flippers and showing them some alternatives. :)

At least you didn't drown it in Meat Church $12/lb garbage bullshiit . That's a fine looking steak - congrats, and I'm jelly of that Shirley grill you got there.

Regardless of fleaking style, that’s a mighty fine looking steak and meal. :thumb:

That is the best way to cook corn on the cob in my opinion, soak then on the grill in the husk. I learned that trick a few years ago and found it has much better flavor than the boil method. The KYFAFMS (Keep your flipper away from my steak) steak looks awesome too.
