Thermoworks Billows on Lone Star Grillz IVS?

Does anyone have experience using the Thermoworks Billows on the Lone Star Grillz IVS? Also, what position do you leave the ball valve in when running a fan? I've read 1/3-1/8 on other threads.

I had heard 1/2 open. That said full open vs partial shouldn't make much of a difference given the fan is going to already significantly limit any air leakage when not running

The partial closure is a slight reduction in air leakage through there which already should be low, but also adds pressure to the fan runs...
