We've already seen one choice from Column A a few weeks back - Beef and Broccoli. Yet another Column A choice is Beef and Snow Peas. And from Column B, today we have Asian Pork. :-D
AKA Stir Fry 2.0
I had some Tri Tip Steaks in the freezer along with some Boneless Spare Ribs. I used the same marinade and sauce from Souped Up Recipes for the Beef and decided to go with the fluorescent pink Ah*So marinade for the pork.
Both packages were still semi-frozen, making the slicing into thin strips much easier. Across the grain -
In the marinade for a few hours. The marbling on these steaks was quite nice -
The pork gets a nice pink Ah*So treatment -
We're ready for the griddle. Beef and Sliced Bella Mushrooms to the left -
Pork Strips and Red Peppers in the center -
And because it needed to be grilled, Zucchini to the right -
Add the Snow Peas, Bean Sprouts and Red Pepper strips to the Beef and Mushrooms once the beef is nearly done -
Soba Noodles with Soy Sauce and Hoisin warming up -
Pork Strips and Zucchini planks are ready and looking good -
Beef and Noodles are mixed together and ready to come off the griddle -
Dinner is ready to be served -
Plated pics -
(I still have Fortune Cookies!)
This was just as good as the Beef and Broccoli. The Pork Strips in the Ah*So Sauce turned out perfect, much better than the hunks of fat ones I get from my local takeout.
The Beef was tender, thanks to the nice cut of Tri Tip and the marinade.
Stir Fry on the Blackstone is so much fun to make and of course, there are leftovers for tomorrow and probably beyond that. :thumb:
Thanks for following along on Dom's Asian Stir Fry Sunday Dinner.
