This contest is back for 2013. Last year was the first time and it was unreal. Having jets come over your cook site at 700 MPH while getting your turn-in boxes ready is crazy. There is no other BBQ contest like this one.

Just a bump...I would advise you to get signed up for this if you haven't. They are capping it at 48 teams and I believe the purse is $15,000.

The sequestration restrictions on military air show equipment and personnel have been lifted, so there may indeed be some military jet teams there after all. There could also be a sky-writing team there.
