Savory Fire Grilled Ribeye Cap Kabobs on My "new" Santa Maria Grill, Courtesy of ssv3!

:heh::heh:

a custom 3/16" open face pit. My bro and I came up with this 48x20 prototype with a 100lb rotisserie kit. This one is his but we plan to build a 36x20 for me. We've got a few ideas of optioning it out with a roti or a Santa Maria style but it'll be used primarily with my swords "skewers" Still on the drawing boards but it came out pretty solid.

did you make it or have it made?

Brother made it but both of us thought it out, designed it so to speak.

Your brother has some good skills. If you are ever willing to share some plans let me know. I want to build something like that (I am into sword cooking over a bed of coals) and it woud be a good way to get back into welding.

Bumping this as I tried the savory marinate on chicken yesterday.
Made a few skewers with chicken filet, dumped them in the marinate and let them sit for 4 hours. Cooked indirect on my Weber and finished direct for extra color.

They were DELICIOUS!!!

Sadly no pics, I was juggling to many things.

Gonna try this marinate with a nice big turkey filet I have in the freezer. Gonna let it marinate overnight.
