I briefly had a used 18" Gabbys that I used on a 18" Kettle and after using it a couple of times, I realized I needed a 22" on Weber Performer cart. I sold the 18" (at times, I wish I had kept it), and got a new 22" from Gabbys. I found a an old (1993) Weber Stainless Performer for cheap and made my Santa Maria cooker. Cooking for just 2 of us, did a small tri-tip, shrimp skewers, linguica sausage and wife wanted some grilled pineapple. Worked out great! The Gabbys attachment has renewed my interested in charcoal/wood grilling after using pellet smokers for the last 10+ years. It's a lot of fun to be actively playing with fire while cooking.

Now you have me seriously considering getting one of these. Yours looks great with the old school Performer with the metal table!

Just droolin'

That the next type of cooking that has my interest peaked.

Looks great!

Ugh...me too. I've not even gotten my offset in yet....and yet I've got G.A.S. for a Santa Maria....and of course not one that is economical.

I keep watching YT and drooling over the Sunterra and Lone Star Grillz offerings.

But seeing that I don't have a spare $4K+ laying around unused....I guess I'll just have to be happy drooling for awhile.

;)
