Reverse Flow Build

Thanks everybody!
Deer season has slowed our progress a little bit, but we are chipping away at her. We finished the air intakes and welded the FB to the CC. Tonight we made the final fit to the frame and welded them together.

You and your son are doing a great job... To answer the baffle plate question... We generally keep ours 2 to 3 inches below the 1st grate..

Thanks guys!

We decided to add supports to the frame at the firebox end to help with the added weight of the warming box we are building for it.

We got the rails welded in and cut out the baffle plate, we're planning to weld it in this weekend and work on the warming box

Wow, this is awesome.....like others have said. i really want to learn how to weld. I've asked for a MIG welder for Christmas, and I've asked a few "pro's" I know to teach me:)

We finished welding the baffle plate in and got a good start on the warming box. We still have a lot of work to do but we can see the light at the end of tunnel.

Thanks guys!

We're getting there slowly but surely, we finished up the WB and welded it in place & built the grates. We need to fit the CC doors and build the charcoal basket and we'll be ready to breathe a little life into her.
