Hello Brethren!
I want to learn to cook BBQ, using wood and an offset smoker, for a crowd of 100 or so on an occasional basis. This could be for church socials, fund-raisers, or to sell at a weekend special event or ball games.

I just finished reading Aaron Franklin’s book and like the idea of having, a cooker built using his recommendations, used propane tanks and straight-through design on a trailer.

A friend has two 250-gallon tanks free and a local welding shop can do the welding for a fee, if I can provide plans or at least a sketch. There is a trailer dealer with a 4 X 8 trailer on consignment for $375 that has potential.

Does anyone here have experience with the plans available from Mike Jones at the link below?

Thanks,

Al
