Thinking about a Primo Jr oval and wondering what size spatchcocked turkey would fit on there? I'm pretty sure the Jr would be fine for the rest of my cooks...

Primo states 2 fourteen lb turkeys, but that wouldn't be spatchcocked.

Thanks

I'd suggest finding pictures of spatchcocked turkeys and see if you can figure out the size of the bird and the size of the grill. Then compare those dimensions with a Jr.

I have a Primo XL and was trying to cook two 15 lb. spatchcocked turkeys and could not fit both. I have their extended racks and the top turkey was touching the smoker lid. I ended cooking both of them in the insulated vertical. The neat thing about an XL is that you can divide the firebox for smaller cooks and have the option for bigger cooks. People on this forum always say buy bigger than what is needed and I have found it to be true. Best of luck on your purchase.

I was able to get two large fryers on Primo Jr (Not spatchcocked) and they filled up every inch of available space. I am not confident a spatchcocked turkey would fit, but a normal one should.
