Have had my Big Phil Blue Collar offset for a year - figured it was time to give it its 6 month heavy clean - while I was at it all gave a deep clean to my kettle and gas grill.
The inside of the offset got scraped down and an application of canola oil to the inside and grates. Outside got rubbed down with some mineral spirits - then got a fire rolling in the firebox and applied a thin coat of linseed oil to the outside of the pit - should be good until Labor Day
