Whipped up focaccia on the weekend and decided to make Croque Monsieur.

Made a bechamel earlier and had to reheat it to add some Swiss cheese. Then it was time to assemble.

Spread dijon mustard on the bread then added the ham. Had some leftover smoked ham that was used on the bottom.

Top with some bechamel sauce.

Top with the other half of the focaccia.

Slather on more of the bechamel sauce and top with more Swiss cheese. Throw it into the oven for a few minutes to heat everything up and melt the cheese.

Under the broiler for a few minutes to crisp up the cheese. Could have used a little more time under the broiler for extra crispy cheese.

Served with Ceasar salad and was enjoyed immensely
