Lamb Chops

My wife is eating quesadillas tonight. She's not a fan of lamb, so that was my signal to cook chops.

They're marinaded in McCormick's Brazilian Steakhouse for a few hours and cooked hot and fast on the BGE with some mesquite for smoke.

Looking forward to eating this soon.

Those sounds really good. We had lamb all the time when I was a kid. But it's hard to find now at least where I'm at and it's expensive

Looks good. When I grew up in the N.E. we had lamb once a week but it's not as popular here in the south.

Aldi will have them on sale every now and then for $8.99/lb. That's when I'll buy a few packages.

My wife loves rack of lamb. For some reason i have not wanted to bother with lamb chops. I will say, those lamb chops look a lot thicker then the ones i have come across at my local grocery stores. They look like they are thick enough to leave room for error.

We prepare lamb about twice a week, lamb chops and loin chops are our favorites, although we will do a leg of lamb occasionally on Sundays for company. Our easter is coming up May 5th where we roast an entire spring lamb, actually 2 for 75 guests.
