Bought some drums and gave them a 2 day soak in some habanero marinade

Found a corned beef and gave it 3 seperate soaks and then some pastrami seasoning and onto the 18" for 5 hours

Looking good.
Found a corned beef ageing in the deep freeze and I'm going to pastrami it also.

It was a BOGO so not to bad Bob.


Full disclosure, $0.79/lb is a sale price here, but drumsticks and thighs go on sale for that price a lot. Normal everyday price is less then $1.50/lb but that's family packs which we always buy anyway. I guess if its bogo its not too bad, but that price $2.69/lb for drumsticks is crazy to me.
