I wish they hated it!
I fried 3 cans and every kid that came in “SPAM!! I freakin LOVE SPAM!!!”
There’s like 3 or 4 slices left :wacko:

My Dad loved Spam. He would fry it.
In WW II, Red Cross Parcels contained a can of Spam, among other items. Dad was in a POW camp, Stalag 17. The Germans fed them a ridiculously low calorie diet that was mostly cabbage soup and a piece of black bread that was stretched with saw dust. They got Red Cross parcels ( when the Nazis allowed it ) and Spam became a staple.
He looked at a can of Spam differently than the rest of us.

Cant remember when I last had Spam. Maybe as a camper- about 60 yrs ago :grin:
I was thinking the same. Can't remember how Mom prepared it.
For those that doubt SPAM as good eats. 6 maybe 7 identifiable ingredients. Tastes great fried, smoked, straight from can. Taste great diced chopped and added to just about anything.

My sister lives in North West Bumfark Alaska. Winter provisions take on a whole new meaning when you're snowed in. She's never out of SPAM.
