Smoked a small Duroc Boston Butt recently. Time to put it into play. Cubed some smoked pork, chopped a couple of fire roasted green chile and added a can of Old El Paso green Enchilada sauce. Plan is to smoke burgers on the Austin XL. I’ve wondered how it would work in high winds. Going to find out. Smoke the burgers, add cheese-onion and pickle. Top with meaty green sauce and maybe jalapeño. Cheese and onions for sure. I’ll probably go bunless, wife will require bread. Turned on the scanner app and multiple power lines snapping across town. Sky is brown with dirt.

Did the XL handle the winds?
We got some brutal north winds right now.
Even with my wind break the camp DO is struggling to do it's job.
More coals :thumb:

Cooker was not disturbed by the swirling 70mph winds. Miserable day. Like it was raining dirt with leaves
