Harpoon?

So long as what you are harpooning is a sustainable species, go for it. I'd start low and slow, you can always crank up the heat to finish. if needed.
 
Teams are encouraged to vend to the public. Teams that only vend one day do not need health inspection, those that vend Saturday and Sunday have to undergo a full health director inspection on Friday. Most of the teams vend something, some sell BBQ and some other items like desserts. It's pretty much a sure thing, as the public comes and supports this event rain or shine. Oh, and they drop off cases of beer at your site shortly after arrival :)
