Still raining. Close to two inches in four days. That's awesome on The High Plains. Found some nice meaty beef back ribs. S-P-L and into the drum. Cheap lump- expensive hickory split. Decide a side later.

I know those dino ribs with five inches of meat are fun to cook and eat, but if you can find beef back with an inch or two of meat they sure are tasty and an easy smoke.

I saw a menu at a Texas Q joint where those dino ribs average $45 each. I paid $3.99# and bought two racks for a total of $37. Next trip to meat market I'll inquire about those 3&4 bone dinosaur's.
