Dinner:
Rice bowl with honey roasted carrots and grilled hangar steak. Topped with a sunny-side up egg.

Seasoned a hangar steak from Wild Fork Foods with Q-Salt and marinated in a mixture of soy, honey, garlic, ginger and fish sauce.

Tossed the hangar steak in the 26” Weber running lump in the vortex to get it HOT!

While this was cooking I put some rice in the rice cooker and the wife made up some honey roasted carrots.

I chopped up some fresh cilantro and fried a fresh (laid last night by our ladies) sunny-side up egg to put it all together .

Egg sauce, one of my favourites
That plate looks fantastic, wish hanger was easier to get here

Looks great! What are your thoughts on the beef from Wild Fork? I placed an order recently that included a prime picanha, some seafood, sausages, and a Berkshire pork tenderloin. I had the sausage and it was pretty good, as was the salmon, but I haven’t tried the beef yet.

I like it.
They’re affordable with a good selection of hard to find meats.
Not the best quality I’ve ever had, but certainly worth the price

Nice to see some Hanger steak make an appearance here, and a fine one at that. Wonderful cook, John!
