It will drive people to buy it fearing it's going extinct and then it will take a hiatus for awhile before it comes back for "a limited time". Marketing 101. I do love a McRib though. I'll even suffer through the agonizing heartburn.

I can't wait to get my hands on one. And when they stop making them, you can always get a Big Mac, hold the sauce and lettuce and cheese, add sliced onions and then get 2 packs of McNugget BBQ sauce. Pull the meat and douse it in the BBQ sauce then reassemble. It will taste the same. LOL!!

meh. tried it once in the 80s when it first came out. wasn't impressed. Never tried again.

I went to the website watermarked on the picture (http://foodfacts.info/mcrib/), here's an even closer picture

That thing is completely disgusting

Actually knew of you but never "knew" you. I've never had a real deal McRib from a McDonald's. I make my own occasionally. But now this article hints this may be the finale.
I may follow through and get a real deal McRib this year. McRib news Link below

People want what they can't have.

No doubt your homemade one would be better!
You only live once... better getcha a McRib and see. :-D

It is weird because in high school, I tried to eat two when the school served them. I have never disliked them but I haven't eaten one in the last 10 years, and I have had to ventured to a McD's at least a few dozen times in that period. Maybe I will grab one or maybe I will smoke some ribs and make one? Thanks for sharing!
