Only had time to try it once- no fire. I can smell the gas though. I'll check it out later this morning. The wires looked good. Probably a spider.

Great score! My #1 grill is an EZ vent code green Mastertouch. For those not familiar it has the same thermometer set up and lid bale as the stainless Performers but no gas assist or table. I was smoking a pork shoulder the other day on it and wondered how many cooks I have done on the old girl since '98. It has to be knocking on a thousand. You will love it. Everyone knows that the green ones cook the best!
