First ever stick burner cook y'all! Watching and reading you farkers sure made this easy! I got this bad boy FREE from Brother Harbormaster. Clark, I can't thank you enough.....I've NEVER had so much fun Q'ing before!

This is an O.G. old school Chuckwagon pit. 3/16" welded all around, and about 10 sqft of grate space. What. A. BLAST! I really can't believe how easy this was. Up to temp and running thin blue within 30 minutes from when I fired the chimney. I got some nice cherry and hickory at the last minute from a pal, and also used some apple, white oak, and maple that I already had. She ran within 50 degrees from fire box end to the vertical cabinet on the left the whole time. Wow. I think I'm in love!

Something tells me that we are going to get even more enjoyment out of your cooking threads than we already do Chris. I didn't think that was possible but now I know it is.

Not sure which I like best, the cooker or the food. Great post Chris, looks like you nailed it!!
