Brother in law gonna be building a second UDS from scratch using a Weber lid with the stock daisy wheel vent. I know this stock vent can achieve temps up to 400+ degrees with the right intake. Was curious if one big poppa slider vent would be enough for higher temps or would you be better with two?

Should work, I use a bge vent on my uds and can get to 325 with only about a 3/4 inch opening.

The last couple I’ve built using a commercial slider, used a slider from UDS parts dot com. It worked well but it was HUGE. Way overkill intake for the size of the vent in a Weber lid. Only needs to be open 1/4” to hold 250-275 lol. It’s just a heck of a lot of CFM. The Big Poppa looks like it might be a better choice but idk.
