I know it's not one of the more popular events but I thought I'd go ahead and post it.

It's this weekend: July 31 - Aug 1. It's NCBS sanctioned. Technically it's the Cary BBQ Classic but its attached to the Beer, Bourbon, BBQ event at Koka Booth ampitheatre.

Since its NCBS the categories are chicken, ribs and pork. No brisket.

Come by and say hi.

Come on by if you'd like but unlike other events, you have to buy tickets to get into the main event (taste beers and bourbon). The cook teams are outside in the vip parking lot and you can walk through that area for free.
