I'm not a fan of the new judging format though, I preferred the blind judging. Then again, I'd be shocked if Mixon/Stone/Cason didn't know who was who under the old format.

I agree. The new judging format reminds me too much of Chopped. There is too much of a chance for personal bias to creep in. Let the BBQ speak for itself.
