Anyone use a tube smoker in their pellet pooper?

I have a smoke tube but really have never found a need for it on my Yoder YS640. The Yoders seem to put out a lot of clean smoke. To me it smokes as well as my older side box smoker.

I have a smoke tube but only use it on my PG500 when doing a cold smoke for Nova lox. In those instances I leave the PG500 turned off and use it and it's warming drawer for smoke flow while the tube generates the smoke.
