South Carolina Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned events are raising the stakes in 2017! Six events have joined together to present The Palmetto BBQ Series:

The cash purse for The Palmetto BBQ Series is currently $2,750. The first place winner receives $1,500, second place receives $750 and third place receives $500.
Based upon KCBS scoring at each event. Highest Cumulative Total Score for 4 out of the 6 events. Team with the Highest Cumulative Total Score wins Grand Champion. Team with the second Highest Cumulative Total Score wins Reserve Grand. In the event of a Tie, the lowest event score will be used as the tiebreaker. Whoever has the highest overall score that was “dropped” will win the Tiebreaker. Prize Money will be awarded following the awards at the Mt. Pleasant BBQ Competition.
