I am very much a "traditionalist" when it comes to tacos. I'm talkin' ground beef, Schilling or Taco Bell taco seasoning, tomatoes, lettuce and cheese in a hard shell.
Well, I wanted to try something really outside the box(for me) for the Taco Throwdown. What I came up with was one, a chicken fajita taco, and second, a blackened trout taco with Mango-avocado salsa and habenero-cilantro Crema.
My-o-my what a pleasant surprise:icon_smile_tongue:, absolutely delicious! Here is the cook;
For the blackened trout;
For the chicken fajita tacos;
The trout with the blackened seasoning;
The Mango-Avocado salsa:
Some grilled chicken and trout;
Some plate shots;
A little spanish rice on the side.
This was soooooooooooo good, absolutely loved it.
Thanks for looking all!
Keep on Qing:grin:!
