Going to get some pics when the meatloaf is done but I was prepping my 270 for winter. Got it all scraped down inside and covered in lard to re-season the smoker. It has not gotten any love since I got my GMG Daniel Boone. The 270 is a beast but it just takes forever to get it to temp. About an hour to get it where I want it to be vs. 20 minutes for the Daniel Boone to be at the temp I want it to be.
Still though the 270 needed cleaned and re-seasoned so I might as well throw a meatloaf on.
Not much reason to smoke a pork butt as I have too much pulled pork in the freezer so the picnic roasts and butts I have are frozen in the chest freezer until we get some of that pork out of the freezer.
I have considered selling the 270 but just in case I compete again I am keeping the 270.
