1st Annual Bigmista Turkey Smoke

OK...I finished the second Turkey and since this one was for the family, I snuck a taste off of the back.

Oh my Stars and Garters!!! I never knew smoked Turkey could be so good!! I'm gonna go buy another one, smoke it, slice and freeze it for later!

BTW...I finally broke down and bought a Brisket. They were on sale at Smart &Final for $1.45/lb. I'm gonna cook it next week. Guess where I'm going for tips?

What does the celery do? I thought it was a no no to stuff a turkey that is being smoked?

Looks great though, I hope mine turns out as nice!

I have used a stick of butter, still in the foil to slow down the melt, drip and run away time, along with sliced apples, oranges and onions to stuff em and they add great flavor. Pecan wood put a great looking color on the skin. Gonna add Celery next time.
