Haven’t made pizza in a while, and really had a craving for a full-bodied meaty pie now that the weather has turned after months of blistering heat out here. Lots of sausage and pepperoni would do the trick.
Everything lined up and ready to build the Meatzza:
Began working dough by hand:
After a couple of hand stretches, got the dough into a 14inch round:
Onto the Super Peel:
A big dollop of sauce:
Spread the sauce nice and evenly:
Now the cheese(Part-skim Mozz)
Added the pepperoni:
Sausage nuggets spread in between the pepperoni and the pie is ready to cook:
Into the Blackstone, running about a 675F stone temp:
One minute later:
Took about 3 minutes to cook, then pulled it out of the oven:
Sliced:
Closeup:
It was everything I wanted from a pizza, and more. Perfect belly warming meal for a cool fall evening.
Thanks for looking!
