Dry Brine Question

Used Thirdeye's formula for brining a slab of Sockeye. Forgot to rinse it after the suggested time and left it in the brine for about 15 hours. Smoke it or throw it?

You won't know if you don't try it.

Smoked it, ate it and still breathing. It is quite good in fact. Bit more salty than the normal but not objectionable.
