well it was weird deal and he was asking $900 OBO , I offered him $800 and he said no way he would sell it that low so told him if he changed his mind holler back . mention he had a mutual friend because it shows this on facebook and he comes back with the lowest he would take is $700 :shocked: so I asked so you will sell to me for $700 and he said yes and I do not know why he dropped his price lower than what I was going to paying him , I still do not get it but I am going in a hour to pick it up .

keeping the Shirley on order and will be selling the Brinkmann Cimarron on here soon , got to keep the wife happy and she does not mind me having two good ones . that Klose was to good of deal to pass up and there was really no thinking about it , I had to have it at that price .

I am going to try it out Friday just the way it is and see how it preforms but tuning plates , probe port , firebricks in the bottom of the firebox might be in its future .

well I just got home it was a two hour round trip drive which was not to bad and got the smoker home safely . it was every bit worth what I paid for it and looks to be a quality built unit and the welds are decent looking compared to other brands out there right now . they are not as great as a Shirley but I have never seen welds on anything that good ever but I am very happy with the build quality of the Klose and glad to welcome it to my family . he also told me he sold it to me cheaper because he felt bad because one of the doors barley touches the temp gauge when opening and closing but to me that looks like a easy tweaking job . the guy was real nice and I think both of us were happy with the deal and asked me if I ever went to sell it if I would give him first bids on it and I agreed . he sold it due his home association does not allow any kind of wood burning what so ever and I guess that is why I live where I do because no one tells me what to do out here in the sticks . I will post pics tomorrow and thanks everyone for the awesome comments and peace my smoking brothers .:rockon:
