So Cal Bash 2015

It was really a fun day/night! Great to see Marty, Neil, Tony and their crews as well as my other friends. I was busy cooking and running my yap all day so my picture taking started pretty late and was very limited.

Bigmista and campdude

Bigmista brought burnt ends - lots of 'em! It's always fun to watch people who don't know what they are eat them for the first time. They usually look like this-->

Some bones from shorties

It seems that after cooking 12 racks of pork ribs of various sorts and 4 racks of shorties I'd have some pics of ribs - but I don't. :tsk: The phone/camera thingee didn't come out till way late in the game, like after most of the folks split. It was, as always, fantastic to hang out with my Brethren brothers - what a cool group of folks, and I wish y'all who couldn't make it could have been there. Moose and I talked about the Bashing official-style maybe in October, which would be awesome.

And yeah, campdude's desserts are always absolutely incredible. There were 3 of those amazing brownies left when I woke up this morning. Now there are 2. I know those will be gone by the time I get home - I should have hidden them. I love my family and all, but when it comes to dessert - fark 'em!

Looks like a nice time. The Virginia Mid-Atlantic Bash needs to know some details about the jalapeno dip please :)

Wish you could have been there brother!

Beef ribs - 2 racks S&P, 2 racks APL recipe - I was gonna do a side by side comparison but didn't. What I got from RD was the 4 bone chuck ribs, which are cool, but I like the 3 bone plate ribs better.

BB's - 3 racks Chris Lily sweet pineapple recipe, 2 racks char siu, 1 rack Bigmista Perfect Pork rub.

Spares - all full spares - 2 racks Frank-killen's (Pitmaster T recipe - love it!), 2 Perfect Pork, 1 BPS Bacon Jalapeno rub, and I can't remember what I did with the other one.

Some were dry, some glazed. Neil brought a bunch of cool sauces/glazes and we checked some of that out - can't remember the names, but it was really good stuff.

Thanks for yet another great time at your place, Greg. You and Shannon are fantastic hosts. The ribs were off the hook as were all the tasty sides. I did get a couple of shots of Greg at the smoker doing the ribs.

Thanks for the take home ribs, fattie, and burnt ends. Mrs. campdude enjoyed some when I got home and I finished the rest today.

Looks like a good time. Wish I could have made it. Maybe next time?

BE's look awesome, as does the rest of the food.
