Cook time for butts?

Hey brethren its been a while. Finished building my UDS and I am supposed to be cooking for a baby shower. I'm going to do three butts and my question is what's a ruff average cook time? I cook butts all the time, but one at a time. This is my first time cooking more than one piece of meat at the same time.

Two butts at a time in my UDS at 275-300* is around 7-8 hours. Slightly faster if I foil.

Depends what temp are you planning on cooking them at? if you cook at around 250 it will take about 1 hour per pound.. if you cook at 300-325 which is what i reccomend it will take less time like around 30-45 per pound.. Its done when the bones wiggle freely..

As long as there is enough space between the butts for airflow the time for one vs. the time for three will be about the same.

I did 4 (35# of meat) a couple weekends back at around 280* and they took about 9 hours. On at 7, foiled at 12, off at 4.
