it seems there has been a lot of threads on Humphreys smokers lately and it's really gave me the itch. I thought I was going to build one last winter and didn't so I'm long overdue. I really want the battle box but everyone says go bigger then you think you need so this girl will be the size of the pint.

Looks awesome!

Got to ask about that exhaust as I am not a cabinet guy. Does the smoke flow to the top of the cooker and then recirculate back down to the exhaust? Does it just flow out? I imagine it circulates but I just was wondering how the smoke flows? Thanks for answering my question.

it's a rf cabinet the smoke flows up from the firebox between the enterer wall producing radiant heat on the way and enters the cooking camber at the top then flows down threw the meat and exits at the bottom. I hope I get even temps and can handle real cold weather with 2" of insulation?
