I did a large charity cook at a parade on Fat Tuesday to raise money for the Women's Center. It was my first cook outside of a fatty I did while seasoning.

Ok, then I had an incident that took the trailer out, but the Shirleys are amazing and got me back on track in time to cook the Charity event 2 days later.

I started with 16 butts on at 3am. Drip pans on the bottom rack

At the same time I put on a CAB brisket.

Fellow brethren SGH (pictured) came out and helped. I also saw Deepsouth.

It was a SUCCESS!! We roughly doubled the money and the leftovers went to feed the women and children staying at their two shelters! The Shirley is AMAZING. The flavor destroys the best bbq I ever pulled out of my Green Egg. It tastes so CLEAN!

That is one of the finest rigs I've seen and the Q looks great too! Congratulations on the worthy cause as well.

Way to go Grim! Glad to see you overcame the challenges and were still able to pull it off. Also, HIGE shout out to the Shirley's! You are truly GREAT people!

Outstanding!! Love both the pit and the cook. Well done fellas, and what a great cause! Hat's off to you both.:clap:

I was about to say.... "Way to use the hangers!"..... Then I saw the next pic! LOL!!!! I'm not poking fun...... Rather learning and absorbing from your experiences for when I get mine! Looks like you're having fun any way!!!!

Thank you all!!

I'm in a food coma!!! I'm in love with this rig. The smoke flavor is so clean and subtle yet clearly pronounced.
