Bone Candy!

Very Cool! Back in the olden days they used to roast the big bones and use the fatty marrow mixed with chunks of meat to preserve it. It was also great energy for a long day of hunting/gathering. Not to mention, way tasty! Kudos.
 
I'm the only one in my house that would eat that, but for crying out loud I'm going to have to do it.

That roasted garlic on the crostini looks like a meal in itself!
 
Love that cook, Smoke Dawg, what an interesting thread. I saw the photos of your cook before I made the osso bucco so while I was cooking my entry I had your entry in the back of my head. :laugh: I've got some lovely crusty bread, will do the garlic roast and get that going!
