I just got 2 barrels from our mechanics. They were used to hold prediluted Ford antifreeze. They were sealed head, and I've cut the heads off. My question is, it doesn't seem to have a liner, but it has yet to rust, even the areas I've hit with a flap disc. Is there a liner? It is silver, and does not appear to have a liner. I would prefer to not do a burn out(wife isn't too excited about that option), but will, if needed.

Burn it. Even if no liner there might be a rust inhibitor or at least some antifreeze residue. A burn out will get most it not all of it taken care of. Just fill with some wood and light it up!

Antifreeze does not really burn and it is not good for you. It is water soluble though so I would pressure wash the heck out of them then burn them out to get any plastic residue or liner.
