I bought my ThermoPop a few years ago and love it. It may be a second slower than it's big brother, Thermapen, but it's half the price, accurate and fast.

I have the RT600C from Thermoworks. Which is $10 cheaper than the Pop. My only complaint is that I go through batteries pretty quick.

I like my thermopop. Last week i dropped it on the hot coals....Besides the display not being as clear as it once was it still works fine.

I had one similar to this for a long time. Still have it in the back of the drawer somewhere. I also use a taylor on my espresso machine, they work great.
