I saw that too. I think this thing only has 6 preset temps for 4 meats. Read some of the comments that have been posted.

I have one like that from wal mart you can push the meet type and push the up button and the temp goes up to what you want.

I think a lot of people who were quoted are very misinformed. (Such ask the yuck comment about meat over 170 degrees

)

I have 3 of these, and you can use the plus and minus for the temp. you want it set to. well worth the price.
